--Acts of the Apostles-- Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, [one] Jesus. (17:7) Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all [men] every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place. (21:28) For we have found this man [a] pestilent [fellow], and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: (24:5) Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law. (24:6) Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me. (24:13) Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him, (25:2) And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove. (25:7) --Epistle to the Romans-- And not [rather], (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. (3:8) |
