Some verses in the New Testament describe a resurrection of Christ's physical body and its assumption into the physical heaven. Other verses describe the spiritual nature of the Resurrection. The Baha'i understanding of the Resurrection is that it was a divine, spiritual body that was resurrected and seen by the apostles.
