These passages suggest that Matthew 24:31 involves the appearance of Christ, who, upon His return, sends His followers out to proclaim His appearance and gather those who are receptive to His message into one common Faith. Baha'is recognize that this is exactly what Baha'u'llah has done. He has sent out His followers to proclaim and teach His Cause: (132:4) Arise thou to serve the Cause of thy Lord; then give the people the joyful tidings concerning this resplendent Light whose revelation hath been announced by God through His Prophets and Messengers.
