HIS APPEARANCE WILL NOT BE CONCEALED-- 23)Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.-- 24)For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.-- 25)Behold, I have told you before.-- 26)Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.-- 27)For as lightening cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.-- 28)For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. (97:3)

..(24:23-8)-- Warnings Concerning Concealed Christs-- These warnings concerning false prophets and false Christs are given with regard to those who would claim that He is hidden in a 'secret' place or in a 'desert'. These characteristics indicate that the true appearance of Christ will be openly proclaimed and given to all. It will not be concealed or intended for only a small elite or a limited group of believers. Also, from a Baha'i point of view, people do not have to seek Him out in one place, hidden or otherwise, because His spiritual presence can be felt, through the effect His teachings have on one's life, by anyone who turns to Him and trusts in Him. (97:4)
