The impression that society will be more decentralized in future is strengthened by statements to the effect that agriculture with its associated activities will reassert itself as the first industry of society and that man's occupations and way of life in general will become more harmonized with nature.. (131:2)

This all suggests that the typical local community of the future will be either a relatively small and 'human-sized' city or an agricultural village. Each town.. would have a community centre at the heart of which would stand the place of worship.. surrounded by trees, fountains and gardens.. Other public buildings.. would be the seat of the Local House of Justice, the community assembly hall, schools, a university, a library, scientific research laboratories, hospitals and auxiliary medical units, homes for the aged, the orphaned and the handicapped, and rehabilitation houses for the socially sick. (131:3)
