Christ promised that if we looked for the 'inward' truth and not the 'outward' appearance, we would know the true from the false, for: (206:8) "He that entereth in by the door (Gate) is the shepherd of the sheep... he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for 'they hear his voice.'
