Even though the Bible does not explicitly state that the verses or words of Scripture are the primary proof of a Prophet, it states this truth indirectly. This can be demonstrated because the Bible indicates that the ability of a Prophet to impart the Word of God is essential to His ability to give us salvation and eternal life. This makes the Word of God a clear biblical criterion for determining a true Manifestation of God.
