This is the direction in which differences among people remain, but in which no one lives in conditions of unacceptable excesses of wealth and in conditions of intolerable poverty as now happens [95]; a society in which the honor and dignity of the human being are always and in any case respected, independent from his social position and the economic prestige he possesses. This is a direction in which work is understood as service and an act of worship [96]. This is a new model; in which what matters is not what a man does, but the spirit and the intention with which he does it.
