Bahá'u'lláh has also unsealed the meaning of the "resurrection" of Christ and the meaning of "resurrection day". Bahá'u'lláh pointed out that there was a beautiful, eternal truth hidden in this inward symbol of the 'resurrection, but that it had been gravely misunderstood. As a result, it became the cause of disputes between religions, as well as between religion and science. The doctrine of the resurrection has also been the cause of preventing literal-minded people from accepting the new Messenger of God, Bahá'u'lláh, in this day.
