Isaiah (23:1)

And it shall come to pass in last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it (23:2)

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (23:3)

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: (23:13)

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked (23:14)

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. (isa 11:1-5) (23:15) see

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth (23:29)

Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy one of Israel, and he shall choose thee (23:34)

Just as there were many who were appalled at him-his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness (23:40)

So will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand. (isa 52:13-15 (NIV)*isa*52:13-52:15 (23:41)

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not (23:44)

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted (23:45)

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken (23:49)

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; (23:60)
