The Greatest Proof
3. The following passage from the Gospel of John can be used to help explain how the greatest proof of the truth of the Manifestation is His Self and His Word. A passage from Baha'u'llah's Writings follows in support of this as well (7:6)

So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. [joh 4:40-42] (7:7) see

'Say: The first and foremost testimony establishing His truth is His own Self. Next to this testimony is His Revelation. For whoso faileth to recognize either the one or the other He hath established the words He hath revealed as proof of His reality and truth. This is, verily, an evidence of His tender mercy unto men..' [gwb 105:1] (7:8) see
