In the next verse Jesus speaks of the culmination of these signs, the actual advent of the Son of Man. (114:1) HE WILL COME IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN-- 30)And then Shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (114:2) ..(24:30)-- A Sign in the Heavens-- This verse has two main parts, the first being a prophecy referring to a 'sign' that will appear in heaven. This singular 'sign', Baha'u'llah explains, is a star. The star has both a literal meaning and a symbolic one. Addressing the outward meaning first, He writes that by ' "heaven" is meant the visible heaven'. He states that: (114:3) a star will appear in the heaven, heralding unto its people the advent of that most great light. (Certitude 62) (114:4) Baha'u'llah demonstrates this point by referring to stories of stars that heralded previous Prophets.
