THE GOSPEL WILL BE PREACHED TO ALL NATIONS-- 14)And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (55:1) ..(24:14) The Christian Effort to Evangelize the Nations-- This particular prophecy has inspired the efforts of many missionaries eager to hasten Christ's Second Advent. (55:2) The prophecy indicates that the Gospel must be preached to all nations in the world. But questions have been raised concerning what Jesus meant by the phrases (l) 'Gospel of the kingdom', (2) 'all the world', (3) 'all nations', and (4) the word 'preached'. (55:3) Defining the Terminology-- (1) The definition of the 'gospel of the kingdom' is the least difficult and least disputed of all the terms involved in this prophecy. The word 'gospel'
