Thus one is not disloyal to Christ. And as formerly the true Jew showed his fidelity to Moses by accepting Jesus (John 5:45-7), the sincere follower of Christ shows his faithfulness to Christ by following Baha'u'llah unreservedly and with all his heart. But he who finds this venture too hazardous, who (out of consideration for his reputation, business and family) joins this religion without real commitment and without cutting the old ties, has not understood the true significance of religion. These words are meant for him: "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me" (Matt 10:37), and "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God".
