The first requirement in obtaining the trust of others is truthfulness (65:4)

"Truthfulness is the foundation of all virtues of the world of humanity. Without truthfulness, progress and success in all the worlds of God are impossible for a soul. When this holy attribute is established in man, all the divine qualities will also become realized." ('Abdul-Baha).... (65:5)

Another prerequisite of trust is honesty (65:6)

"...enjoineth on you honesty and piety. Blessed the city that shineth by their light. Through them man is exalted, and the door of security is unlocked before the face of all creation." (Baha'u'llah) (65:7)

"The essence of faith is fewness of words and abundance of deeds; he whose words exceed their deeds, know verily that his death is better than his life." (Baha'u'llah) (66:2)

"Take heed, O people, lest ye be of them that give good counsel to others but forget to follow it themselves." (Baha'u'llah) (66:3)
