"The essence of faith is fewness of words and abundance of deeds; he whose words exceed their deeds, know verily that his death is better than his life." (Baha'u'llah) (66:2) "Take heed, O people, lest ye be of them that give good counsel to others but forget to follow it themselves." (Baha'u'llah) (66:3) A strong and fruitful relationship between two parties requires more than trust, important as it is. Needed in addition are the qualities of warmth such as kindliness, compassion, courtesy and generosity-- in short, concern for the welfare and feeling of others. (66:4) "..Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart, that thine may be a sovereignty ancient, imperishable and everlasting." (Baha'u'llah).... (66:5) "Happiness is a great healer to those who are ill.. The people in the east show the utmost kindness and compassion to the sick and the suffering. This has a greater effect than the remedy itself. You must always have this thought of love and affection when you are visiting the ailing and afflicted.." ('Abdul-Baha).... (66:9) "Among the teachings of Baha'u'llah is one requiring man, under all conditions and circumstances, to be forgiving, to love his enemy and to consider an ill-wisher as a well-wisher. Not that one should have and enemy and then put up with him.. this is hypocrisy and not real love. Nay.. you must see your enemies as friends.." ('Abdul-Baha)
