As the members of an Assembly are conscious of the fact that their only ambition is to serve God and the community, and that they have not fought an election campaign against one another to win office, they start with a potential for spiritual unity and friendship. Of course, sometimes there are certain clashes of temperament which may cause difficulty, but normally with the aid of prayer with which every Assembly meeting begins, with the awareness of the need to look on others in a spirit of brotherhood, and with the concerted help of all the other members of the Assembly, such difficulties are usually overcome.
