False Prophets (14:0)

Christ said "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (mat 7:15) (14:1) see

Baha'u'llah uses the very same imagery when referring to the clergy: "O ye that are foolish, yet have a name to be wise! Wherefore do you wear the guise of shepherds, when inwardly ye have become wolves, intent upon my flock" (hwd 30:2) (14:2)

Additionally, false prophets: (14:3)

1. Will bear evil fruit (mat 7:17) (14:4) see

2. Will come at the end of the age and will deceive many, even the elect, with great signs and wonders (mat 24:11 & 24) (14:5) see

3. Will bring heresies into Christianity and will deny the Lord (2pe 2:1-3) (14:6) see

4. Will arise amongst the Christians (2pe 2:1) (14:7) see

5. Will show covetousness and false words (2 pe 2:3) (14:8) see

Clearly these do not apply to Baha'u'llah, but how well does this fit much of the present-day clergy? (false prophets were even in early church (Gal 1:6-9) (14:9) see
