To Build the Kingdom (75:0)

The Kingdom is now being established on the earth because Christ has returned: (75:1)

1.".. and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose." (isa 35:1-2) (75:2) see

2."He will feed His flock like a shepherd.." (isa 40:11) (75:3) see

3."In that day.. he shall come.. from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and.. According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt (40 years) will I shew unto him marvelous things." [Coming out.. Egypt = 40yrs & Bahá'u'lláh's tenure = 40 yrs. ] (mic 7:12-15) (75:4) see

4."Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.." (rev 21:3) (75:5) see

"Christ will come like Lightning": Christians use the prophecy in Matthew about 'lightning' to indicate Him coming instantly, but disregard its counterpart in Luke. It is helpful to see them together: (75:6) 81

From Matthew 24:27: "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (75:7) see

From Luke 17:24-26: "For the Son of Man in his day will be like lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other."But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation (class of people)". Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man." (see Note above) (75:8) see

House on top of Mountain (75:9)

But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. (mic 4:1) (75:10) see

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (mic 4:2) (75:11) see

And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (mic 4:3) (75:12) see

The Universal House of Justice, the administrative head of the Bahá'í Faith presently resides on Mt. Carmel in the Holy Land."The Administrative Order of the Faith of Bahá'u'lláh must in no wise be regarded as purely democratic in character inasmuch as the basic assumption which requires all democracies to depend fundamentally upon getting their mandate from the people is altogether lacking in this Dispensation." (wob 153:1) (75:13) see

"Nor can the Bahá'í Administrative Order be dismissed as a hard and rigid system of unmitigated autocracy or as an idle imitation of any form of absolutistic ecclesiastical government, whether it be the Papacy, the Imamate or any other similar institution, for the obvious reason that upon the international elected representatives of the followers of Bahá'u'lláh has been conferred the exclusive right of legislating on matters not expressly revealed in the Bahá'í writings..

The abolition of professional priesthood with its accompanying sacraments of baptism, of communion and of confession of sins, the laws requiring the election by universal suffrage of all local, national, and international Houses of Justice, the total absence of episcopal authority with its attendant privileges, corruptions and bureaucratic tendencies, are further evidences of the non-autocratic character of the Bahá'í Administrative Order and of its inclination to democratic methods in the administration of its affairs." (wob 153:2) (75:14) see
