Basis for Christian Belief (rev 1:7) (13:1) see 1. This is similar to the statement of Isaiah in the Old Testament: "Prepare the way for the Lord.. and all flesh shall see the salvation of God", and Luke said that the prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus (luk 3:4-6). If Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of "all flesh shall see" non-physically, then why would anyone insist that at His Return, it would require that "every eye" must physically see Him?(Luke referring to isa 40:4-5) When Christ returned, "every eye" (every spiritual eye that was watching) saw Baha'u'llah. (13:2) see 2. "He shall come as a thief in the night" (rev 3:3;16:25) suggests that it would not be many (literal) eyes that would see Him.
