"Know that proceeding (lit. dependence) is of two kinds:... through emanation, and... through manifestation. The proceeding... through manifestation is the manifestation of the reality of a thing" (in this case, of Deity) "in other forms: like the coming forth of this tree from the seed of the tree, or the coming forth of the flower from the seed of the flower; for it is the seed itself which appears in the form of the branches, leaves and flowers. This is called the proceeding through manifestation." (Saq 239- 40) (11:2)

This "proceeding... is like the coming forth of the writing from the writer. Now the writing emanates from the writer,... and in the same way the human spirit emanates from God. It is not that it manifests God." (Saq 239) (11:3)

"The dependence through the creatures upon God is a dependence of emanation; that is to say, creatures emanate from God, they do not manifest Him." (Bwf 315) (11:4)

"Out of every manifestation of His invincible power oceans of eternal light have outpoured." (Bwf 28) (11:6)

One realm of being is called "The Absolute,... the worlds of authority and command... the sea of the spirit.... the holy air of light." (7 Val 27- 8) (11:7)

The highest plane of the Manifestation of God "is... the splendor of the Pre- existent Beauty, and the radiance of the light of the Almighty." (Saq 178) (11:8)

"Consider the endless phenomena of His creation. They are infinite; the universe is infinite. Who shall declare its height, its depth and length? It is absolutely infinite." (Pup 268) (11:9)

"Know thou that every fixed star hath its own planets, and every planet its own creatures, whose number no man can compute." (Gl 163) (11:10)

"How great, O my God is this Thy most excellent handiwork, and how consummate Thy creation, which hath caused every understanding heart and mind to marvel!" (Bwf 71) (11:11)

"The Kingdoms of earth and heaven are Thine, O Lord of the worlds... Who holdest in Thy grasp the empire of whatever hath been created in heaven and on earth!" (pam 323,296) (11:12)
