"Man them is the perfect mirror facing the Sun of Truth, and is the center of radiation: the Sun of Truth shines in this mirror." (Bwf 311) (17:3)

"The perfect Man, the Prophet, is One... Who has the purity and clearness of a perfect mirror-- One Who reflects the Sun of Truth. Of such a One we can say that the Light of Divinity with the heavenly Perfections dwells in Him." (A. Baha in London 10) (17:4)

"The existence of the world may be compared to that of man, and the Prophets and Messengers of God to skillful doctors." (Saq 108) (17:5)

Now for instance, "the vitality of men's belief in God is dying out in every land; nothing short of His wholesome medicine can ever restore it. The corrosion of ungodliness is eating into vitals of human society; what else but the Elixir of His potent Revelation can cleanse and revive it?... The Word of God, alone, can claim the distinction of being endowed with the capacity required for so great and far- reaching a change." (Bwf 113) (17:6)

"The Prophets of God, the universal Manifestations, are like skilled physicians, and the contingent world is like the body of man: the divine laws are the remedy and treatment. Consequently the doctor must be aware of, and know, all the members and parts, as well as the constitutions and state of the patient, so that he can prescribe a medicine which will be beneficial against the... poison of the disease...; and as the universal Manifestations of God are aware of the mysteries of beings, therefore They... by this knowledge establish the Law of God." (Saq 181- 2) (17:7)

"In every instance They have voiced an utterance that would conform to the requirements of the occasion." (Bwf 25) (17:8)

"They whom God hath endued with insight will readily recognize that the precepts laid down by God constitute the highest means for the maintenance of order in the world and the security of the peoples. He that turneth away from them, is accounted among the abject and foolish." (Bwf 126) (17:9)

"The Divine Food is descending from heaven, but... only those can enjoy it who are endowed with a sound taste... Every diseased soul disliketh the delicious and merciful food and this is because of the sickness which hath seized him." (Tab- I 130- 1) (17:10)
