"Both before and after putting off.. material form, there is progress in perfection... Hence as the perfections of humanity are endless, man can also make progress in perfections after leaving this world." (Bwf 333) (45:2)

"As to the soul of man after death, it remains in the degree of purity to which is has evolved during life in the physical body, and after it is freed from the body... its evolution is spiritual, and that evolution is: The approaching unto God." (Pt 66) (45:3)

"All the souls are created according to the nature of God and all are in the state of purity at the time of their births. But afterwards they differ from one another insofar as they acquire excellencies or defects." (Bwf 388) (45:4)

"Movement is essential to all existence. All material things progress to a certain point, then begin to decline. This is the law which governs the whole physical creation... Nothing that has life is without motion. All creation, whether of the mineral, vegetable or animal kingdom, is compelled to... either ascend or descend. But with the human soul, there is no decline. Its only movement is towards perfection; growth and progress alone constitute the motion of the soul." (Pt 89) (45:5)

"If his morals become spiritual in character, his aspirations heavenly and his actions conformable to the Will of God, man has attained the image and likeness of his Creator; otherwise he is the image and likeness of Satan." (Pup 330) (45:6)

"Make known this Thy station, O my God, unto the servants, that they may be made aware that the excellence of all things is dependent upon Thy bidding and Thy Word, and the virtue of every act is conditioned by Thy leave and the good- pleasure of Thy Will, and may recognize that the reins of men's doings are within the grasp of Thine acceptance and Thy commandment." (pam 68) (45:7)
