(Gl 310) (56:7) "Through suffering he will attain to eternal happiness which nothing can take from him... To attain eternal happiness one must suffer." (Pt 178) (56:8) ..Your human "self" or nature ("Ego") is your material being (body), plus the "mind" you have "made up" (rational being) plus your negative emotional attitudes that reacting to "evil" has formed. Your attributes and 'actions' of positive love area all part of your spiritual being or soul.
