"For those who believe in God, who have love of God, and faith, life is excellent-- that is, it is eternal; but to those souls who are veiled from God, although they have life, it is dark, and in comparison with the life of believers it is non- existent." (Saq 282) (73:1)

"What profit is there in agreeing that universal friendship is good, and talking of the solidarity of the human race as a grand ideal? Unless these thoughts are translated into the world of action, they are useless." (Pt 16) (73:2)

"A cure of physical disease is very easy, but the cure of spiritual disease is very difficult. If one has a fever and you give him medicine, the fever will vanish; but if the spirit is afflicted with the disease of ignorance, it is difficult to remove that disease. For example, if the spiritual health is afflicted with the love of the world, spiritual medicine must be given. These medicines are the advices and commands of God, which will have effect upon it." (Dal 59) (73:3)

"Nothing save that which profiteth them can befall My loved ones," God tells us; we have but to accept this statement as fact or truth. (Adj 69) (73:4)

"What is needed is divine joyousness. The star of happiness is in every heart. We must remove the clouds so that it may twinkle radiantly." (Bns no 90 p7) (73:5)

"Summary (of the human reality with its various conditions): Aware of the divine Purpose, Origin, Objective and potentialities of existence, through viewing it in the light of divine Revelation and with the eyes of the heart (faith and intuition), the enlightened soul feels only a selfless love, a radiant acquiescence and ever- increasing delight and joy. It is from these feelings that spirituality grows-- that is, all of the heavenly attributes such as mercy, kindness, forgiveness, patience, understanding, etc. For each human character- deficiency that "bad" emotions generate, there is a spiritual quality that grows out of love to eliminate that fault. (73:6)

All human emotions develop from the animal and rational view of life. They are merely an enlargement of the animal's views and feelings. (73:7)

When rational vision is added to animal awareness, man begins to see things in the light of time, and to grasp a degree of abstract truth. He recognized himself as a self- determining creature with definite needs and objectives; and evaluates things and people as acceptable or revolting according as they serve his purposes. He uses his intellect both to gain more facts about what he deals with, and to rationalize what he sees and feels. The animal view of life is greatly enlarged. (73:8)

Aware only of his own sensations, appetites and body condition, the animal feels a liking for his own pleasure, satisfactions and comfort, and a dislike of pain, hunger and interference with satisfaction. (73:9)
