No Other Name (18:0)

Yes, meaning the 'eternal' Christ (the Word or Anointed One) which is the same for all eternity. (18:1)

Bahá'u'lláh & Jesus are both the Christ and the Word, but the Word will appear on Earth again with another human name. (18:2) see

Basis for Christian Belief: "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved". (act 4:12) (18:3) see

However: (18:4)

1. Bahá'u'lláh is the Return of the same "Christ" or "Anointed One". (18:5)

2."And I will write on him My new name.." (rev 3:12) [i. e. the returned Christ] (18:6) see

3.".. when He the Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth." (joh 16:12-13) [Jesus says that "He" will guide you after "I" go away] (18:7) see

4. New Names are the norm for such fulfillment. Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah's name would be Emmanuel ("God with us") (isa 7:14)and not Jesus ("He who saves") [names are Titles in the Bible, and are descriptive of the roles people are to play] (18:8) see

5. Christ in both His first and Returned appearance had many names: ".. And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.." (isa 9:6) "His name is called the 'Word of God'" (rev 19:13) "And He has on His robe and on His thigh a new name written: 'King of kings and Lord of Lords'" (rev 19:16) [please read notes: '16' & '26'] (18:9) 26 see
