--2 Samuel-- But [the sons] of Belial [shall be] all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: (23:6) But the man [that] shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the [same] place. (23:7) --Matthew-- Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. (12:29) Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. (13:30) --Luke-- When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: (11:21) But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. (11:22) --1 John-- He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
