Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; (3:1)

Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in all his house. (3:2)

And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as [was] Aaron. (5:4)

So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. (5:5)
