--Leviticus-- And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even. (11:39) And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even. (11:40) And every soul that eateth that which died [of itself], or that which was torn [with beasts, whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean. (17:15) But if he wash [them] not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity. (17:16) That which dieth of itself, or is torn [with beasts], he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I [am] the Lord. (22:8) |
