--Matthew-- Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. (12:22) And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? (12:23) But when the Pharisees heard [it], they said, This [fellow] doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. (12:24) And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: (12:25) And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? (12:26) And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast [them] out? therefore they shall be your judges. (12:27) But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. (12:28) Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. (12:29) He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. (12:30) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. (12:31) And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come. (12:32) Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [his] fruit. (12:33) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (12:34) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. (12:35) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. (12:36) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (12:37) --Mark-- And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house. (3:19) And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. (3:20) And when his friends heard [of it], they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself. (3:21) And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils. (3:22) And he called them [unto him], and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? (3:23) And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. (3:24) And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. (3:25) And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. (3:26) No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. (3:27) Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: (3:28) But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: (3:29) Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. (3:30) --Luke-- And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered. (11:14) But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. (11:15) But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house [divided] against a house falleth. (11:17) If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. (11:18) And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast [them] out? therefore shall they be your judges. (11:19) But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. (11:20) When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: (11:21) But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. (11:22) He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. (11:23) |
