To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork (19:1)

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge (19:2)

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard (19:3)

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun (19:4)

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race (19:5)

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof (19:6)

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple (19:7)

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes (19:8)

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether (19:9)

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb (19:10)

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward (19:11)

Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults (19:12)

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression (19:13)

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer (19:14)

Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation (111:1)

The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein (111:2)

His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever (111:3)

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion (111:4)

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant (111:5)

He hath showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen (111:6)

The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure (111:7)

They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness (111:8)

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name (111:9)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever (111:10)
