(Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and God called them to account for their sins. For God is strict in punishment. (3:11)

Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up. (20:78)

Pharaoh led his people astray instead of leading them aright. (20:79)

We delivered Moses and all who were with him; (26:66)

So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong! (28:40)

When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all. (43:55)

"And leave the sea as a furrow (divided): for they are a host (destined) to be drowned." (44:24)

So We took him and his forces, and threw them into the sea; and his was the blame. (51:40)
